In my case the appliance was running Suse Linux Enterprise.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I booted the VA using the &lt;a href="http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download" target="_blank"&gt;Ubuntu Live CD&lt;/a&gt; and opened a Terminal.
